Rick Warren’s game of Twister continues, as he tries, hopelessly, to please everyone. He’s going to seriously injure himself trying to straddle both sides of the aisle. Biblical Christians are the offendees at the moment, raising sand over his removal of material from the Straddleback Saddleback website to appease his leftist, homosexual friends. These are the friends with which he said he can hold hands, even though they don’t see “eye to eye.” Brace yourself for an onslaught of “conservative” rhetoric in the next few days (hours?) as Rick attempts to plug the dike of evangelical support that has now sprung serious leaks. One thing is for certain, Rick’s P.R. agency, A. Larry Ross Communications, is certainly earning its fees.
