The photos from around the world today are being posted at news sites. From Berlin to Tokyo to Kuala Lumpur and New York, there was fear as the financial markets collapsed. Aren’t you glad that having our treasure in heaven is more than a cliche? Here is William Schlueter singing an old hymn written in the 17th Century. Many economic crashes and panics have occurred since that hymn was first published, but its message is as relevant as the day it was written. God has never changed, and our riches that we have in Christ can never be taken away.
